Tiny House Sunshine Coast, Kookaburra Park

When Emma & Adam, owners of Kookaburra Park wanted to add more accommodation for their holiday guests, they refused to compromise on height or comfort.

Instead of adding a caravan or fixed cabin, they decided to create a gorgeous space for a tiny house to their Sunshine Coast based tourist park.

Tiny House holidays in Australia are becoming increasingly popular, with many holiday makers wanting to experience the luxury tiny homes can provide, with a small environmental footprint.

The brief was to create a modern, monochrome, minimalist style, in a single level tiny house, so that guests with young children or elderly would not have to climb up the ladders to a loft bedroom.

TechnoPODS designed and built a 6m long tiny house with spacious 2.7m ceilings, creating the feel of a studio apartment.

Perfect for tiny house holidays with an AirBnB, short-term accommodation style stay, this single level tiny home features:

- full size kitchen

- induction cooktop

- queen size bed

- full size shower

- bench seat on the back where you can see gorgeous views of the property

This tiny house comes with its own garden shack for you to ‘hang out’ in, with two hammocks, a garden table and chilled area to curl up with a book.

Your own fire pit (a very cute chiminea) is yours to toast marshmallows and chill by of an evening.

Kookaburra park offers a gorgeous farm-style retreat, without the normal caravan park crowds, where your family can play with guinea pigs, chicken, goats and pigs or take a beautiful bush hike.

Owners of caravan parks and people with granny flats are not the only ones who can make money from short-term accommodation.

If you are looking for extra income, our PODS allow you to provide stylish tiny house holiday stays with great ROI!

"We have a TinyPOD as guest accommodation at our caravan & camping park and absolutely love it. The TinyPODS team are fantastic to work with and we look forward to continuing doing business with them." Emma
